The T4230 is a high security, dermal fingerprint reader that plugs into the PCMCIA port of a laptop computer. It's "plug & play" ability makes it an ideal peripheral for laptop security.

If you share your laptop with others, you can enroll them on the system, assigning each one a personal data access profile. Your laptop security is never compromised as each individuals' personal data is kept secure in seperate profiles.

At a touch of a finger, the dermal fingerprint reader pops from the side of the laptop to allow you to gain access. If you remove the T4230 from the PCMCIA slot in your laptop you render it useless, preventing anyone logging in and accessing your data.
